Okay, so I’m not sure ‘normal’ exists. How about get back to a routine?
The holidays are hectic, crazy times. I so didn’t look forward to them at all this year. My 19 year old daughter wanted her independence and moved out, yet she still calls me to do thing for her (like call her doctor and dentist to make appointments). Nope, she’s an adult and living on her own, for the most part, it’s time she learned what it’s like. Besides, I’m not her personal assistance. The whole situation put way too much stress on me. So that Christmas cheer? Blah, it ran away.
I’m so ready to start the new year, fresh and clean. As I reflect back on 2012, I’m happy with what I had accomplished. I became a published authored author! I found out in 2011 that I love writing and creating worlds so much that I want to do it full time. And I will. 2013 will be my year. I have a new series that kicked off with a prequel, Winter Eve. I am so pleased with how well this story is doing in just the first three weeks!
Just wait until A Tiger’s Claim comes out in the spring. It’s going to ROCK!
I also have two more series in the planning stages that I hope to introduce to my readers in last half of the year. One will be a series I will being co-authoring with my business partner, writing partner, and BFF, Carrie Ann Ryan, called Keys of Fate There are hot fallen angels involved. My other series is Sons of War (Greek mythology meets dragon-shifters). And of course Ashwood Falls will continue. I have 8 books planned after Winter Eve.
I also have some personal goals that I want to accomplish. I will be putting myself on a healthy track starting next week. I’m entering a weight loss challenge at work.
I also want to start a regular mediation routine to help keep me balanced.
No, these are not resolutions. They are goals that I will break down into smaller steps in order to meet them. It’s all about the baby steps. And I’m going to start by moving back into my office, aka spare bedroom, this weekend. And, I’m going to move the Wii in there with me. That way I don’t have the excuse my hubby is watching TV and I can’t get on the Wii to workout.
Have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend!
