Hello! Happy Friday and Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Today over 120 authors share all things to do with St. Patrick’s day. Oh and you can’t forget the prizes! yes there are tons of giveaways and grand prizes. So stay tuned for what’s up for grabs.
I’m not Irish – that I know of – and my family didn’t have traditions when it came to St. Patrick’s Days. It was a day I wore green to keep from getting pinched at school. Kids can be so mean. LOL
I’ve never had green beer. But I do like the color green and clovers. I still wear green on March 17 – the 16th and 17th this year because of it falls on a Saturday – in honor of the holiday.
With all seriousness, I am – when I find spare time lying around – studying other cultures and beliefs. I love the diverse life styles and believes of other countries and religions. My hubby and I are going to travel when we retire (from my day job that is. I don’t think I could ever get tired of writing). Ireland is one of the “must visit” places on my travel list.
What about you? What’s your St. Patrick’s Day traditions?
My upcoming paranormal romance novel, and the first in the Divinities Series, is moving along. It will be release by Soul Mate Publishing tentatively this spring. I had a sneak peak at the cover. Tee hee. It’s really pretty! I’ll post it as soon as I get the all clear, so keep an eye out for it! But here’s the blurb! (Please note this has not gone through edits)
Kalissa Bradenton isn’t your average coffee shop owner. Born to an elite witch bloodline with a rare genetic mutation, she’s a Divinity on a mission. The death of her parents sends her away from her Maxville, Florida home and into an ancient war between witches and demons. When childhood friend, Ayden Daniels, comes to her aid after an almost fatal accident, visions of a past she doesn’t remember sparks an old flame and new desires. With the past slowly becoming clearer, she eagerly sets her sights on mending Ayden’s heart and gaining his trust – until a ghost from her past returns to claim her as his demonic mate.
Ayden, the new Sheriff of Maxville and grandson of the oldest living Divinity, is investigating a series of Divinity killings. When he comes face to face with the one woman he hopes to have little to no contact with, old pain rises, quickly followed by anger and resentment. Through his rare power of adaptability he learns actions from the past may not be what they seem. Hope fills his broken heart and determination pushes him to do whatever it takes to win Kalissa’s heart once more before his loses her forever.
Together they must find the strength to mend their tormented souls, while fighting an evil out to destroy the world.
