Halloween Blog Hop

Welcome to the Halloween Blog Hop! 270+ authors with giveaways. The hop starts on Friday, October 26, 2012 and ends on Monday, October 29, 2012. For a list of participating blogs go to The Blog Hop Spot. So let’s start hopping!

In October the leaves start to change. Well, at least for the northern states of the US. Here is Florida, we don’t have very many trees where their leaves change. So, my DH and I try to make it up to the mountains where the landscape is beautiful this time of year.

Halloween for me had always been one of my favorite holidays. I loved dressing up and going door-to-door. I also love to see all of the creative costumes people come up with.

Share the most creative, different, or craziest costume you had ever seen.

  6. The most creative costume I saw was a woman in a black sweatsuit. She had a clear plastic bag over her filled with purple balloons. She was a bundle of grapes. It was a very cool idea. Thanks for the giveaway. Happy Halloween.

  7. Happy Halloween :)

The most craziest costume I have seen was a man dressed in a woman’s Teddy with a komono style robe that was left untied and open with a pair of combat boots on… (to each their own, what may make them happy may not be the same as you- as the saying goes)
Thank goodness this was at a local pub that was having a costume party…

The honey on the cover is rather gorgeous.

Adam & Eve costumes I saw worn were certainly a brave choice.

  12. Not counting online, because you can find crazy stuff online(!), I’d have to say that a couple of the most creative are the costumes my grandmother made my cousin and I when we were little. He was the green ranger and I was the pink one. She bought the paterns, but the helmets and shoes were the hard part. The helmets were each two pieces and required paint for the bottom half of the face and around the eyes. I’ve never worn so much paint in my life! Anyway, that might be biased, but it was one of my favorites, I wore mine for three years, and he wore his for two. Mine’s currently in a frame in my mother’s guest room lol.

  17. We had a costume contest at my job one year and one of the ladies went as a bag of gumballs. She had this clear sack on filled with balloons. It was super cute. Although, she did have a few mishaps with balloons popping. Thanks for the giveaway!
