Six Sentence Sunday: Ravished Before Sunrise 7/08

It’s the last day to enter the 1NS Blog Hop giveaways. I’m giving away a Starbucks cold cup tumbler with a $5 Starbucks GC and a swag pack, Click Here to enter to win. Happy Hopping!

Today’s six picks up a few sentences after the excerpt on the 1NS Blog Hop post (link is above).  Darian tries to convince his daughter that he has a business to run and can’t leave. Kat reminds him she is his VP and more than capable of handling things while he’s away. She also tells him that her mom would want him to go on with his life and ends the phone call.

Damn. She’d played the Mom card. His chest tightened. Alexis, his late wife, wouldn’t want him unhappy.

But a one-night stand with a stranger? Not happening.

Thanks for stopping by. For more snipets hop over to sixsunday.com.
