Six Sunday: Death’s Storm – 8/28

Hi and welcome back to Six Sentence Sunday. For those who are not familiar with Six Sunday, it is a blog tour/hop where author post six sentences from their WIP or published work.

I want to thank everyone for stopping by and for your comments.

This week I’m sharing six from my WIP Death’s Storm.  It picks up where last week left off. Khloe is still trying to figure the demon out, and if she can trust him.

As if feeling her inquisition, he lifted his chocolate brown eyes. “I’m tied to Hecate.”

He offered his left arm to her palm up, revealing Hecate’s Wheel perfectly etched on the inside of his wrist. It was identical to the one she received during Kalissa’s and Ayden’s binding ceremony. She reached out to touch it, but he pulled his arm away before her fingers made contact. If he worked under Hecate’s command, he was on her side. He shifted to set the jar of cream, after tightening the lid, on the bed between them and picked up the roll of bandages. Times like these she wished was empathic like Zach, better yet telepathic. She’d love to know what the demon was thinking.

I hope you enjoyed my first six, and for more wonderful six go too www.sixsunday.com

  7. I like that you have the goddess Hecate in there. That’s different. I’d love to know what is going on in his thoughts and how that thinking pertains to her.
